How do you play blackjack?
1. Take a Seat at the Table and Bet
You take a seat at a blackjack table where you want to play. The dealer indicates that you can place a bet.
If the dealer indicates that this is no longer possible, then the game will really start.
2. Share and play cards
You and other players are dealt two cards. The cards are placed face up. The dealer also receives 2 cards, but 1 of these cards remains face down.
If your cards are not yet close to 21 points, you can ask for a new card. Make sure you don't take too many risks.
The dealer's card that is upside down is now placed face up. If the dealer's total points is 16 or less, then he must draw another card.
If the total is higher than 21, you have won. You also win if your combination is 21 points.
If you have won, the profit is transferred to you by the dealer.
The amount of the profit depends on the amount you have bet. You can now follow the steps again from the beginning to keep playing the game.
Rules of the game
The object of the game is to get 21 points or less, but close to 21 points. In doing so, you have to play the opponent away. That means you must have more points than the bank, but no more than 21 points. If the bank has 21 points, you have lost.
If the bank has more than 21 points, you win. There can be a maximum stake attached to a table, which varies per game and provider. Other rules regarding blackjack are that you may only bet if the dealer indicates so, that the dealer indicates when that is no longer allowed and that the cards and the game are controlled by the dealer.
In blackjack you make bets before the cards are dealt. The dealer indicates that this is possible and you can place a bet. Often a minimum bet is required and a maximum bet is possible. You can win back the bet you place if you have 21 points or more points than the bank under 21. If the bank wins, you lose the bet. With many games it is possible to make extra bets in a different way.
You can double the bet, receiving 1 more card
You can split, where two cards of the same rank are divided into two decks. Then you have to place a new bet for the second pair
It is possible to insure the stake. You then place an extra bet and get this bet and the regular bet back if the dealer has blackjack. If you win, you lose the insurance.
The moment you have obtained the same number of points or more points than the bank and less than 21 points, you will receive 1 times the bet as a profit. You will then also receive the original bet back. If you have 21 points, you win immediately and with blackjack you get 1,5 times the stake as a profit.
If you have more than 21 points or the bank has more points than you, you lose the bet. Keep in mind that the chance of loss is always greater for you than for the bank. If you start playing with this in mind, it can always be easy when you win playing blackjack.

There are several strategies you can use when playing blackjack. No method guarantees a profit and it is never possible not to make a loss with a particular method. After all, it is a game of chance.
You can follow a strategy where you ask for a card if you have a 2 or a 3 and fold if you have 12 or 13, if you have higher cards from the dealer, ask for a card if you have 16 points and will always pass with 17 points and with an ace always one. ask for a card because it can count for 1 or 11 points. You can research the best strategy for you by practicing the game and trying different methods.
Choose a good table
Before you start playing it is important to choose the right table. Both online and in land-based casinos. This means that you choose a table that fits your budget. But also one where the conditions are as favorable as possible. It is wise to choose a table where the dealer always stops at a value of 17.
One of the best blackjack options when playing online is the 'double down'. This means that you can double if the value of your first card is a '10' or an 'Ace'. You then double your bet and you can win double.
To ensure? Do not!
If the dealer's first card is an Ace, the casino gives you the chance to 'insure'. You will then still be paid 2: 1 if you win and you will still get part of your bet back if you lose. But even though it looks attractive, we don't recommend doing this. The chance that the dealer has blackjack is around 30% in the long term. This means that you 'just' win 2 out of 3 times. Then an extra expense on insurance is not necessary at all.
In blackjack you sometimes get the option to split. This increases your profit and chances of winning. If the first two cards have the same value, you can split. You then bet the same bet as before the round. So you can win twice as much, but also lose twice as much!
If you have 5, 9 or 10 twice, it is not a good idea to split. You already have a good chance of winning. But if you have 6, 7, 8 or Ace twice, it is advisable to split. The chances of winning are not that great and an extra card can cause a bust.
Fit at 17 or more
The goal of blackjack is to get as close to 21 as possible. If you keep going at 17 or higher, despite the dealer having a good chance of 18 or higher, you limit your loss in the long run. An extra card at 17 or higher often results in a bust.
Beware of 12 or higher if the dealer has 4, 5 or 6
This may sound a bit strange. 12 As a value is low. But the chance that you will get a card with value 10 is quite high, which will make you bust. And in many variants, the dealer is not allowed to stop at 16 or lower. So there is a good chance that a dealer will bust with an initial value of 5 and two cards to go. Then you win the round despite your low value.
Behavior during the game
Winning is of course the ultimate goal. But it will also happen that you sometimes lose. It is important to know how to behave when you win and when you lose. For example, it is wise not to advertise your profit. Your winning streak does not last forever.
In addition, you should try not to make up for your loss in a rush by withdrawing extra play money. Blackjack is and will remain a game of chance, so you never have the guarantee that you will win. But winning back as much as possible in a rush will likely only lead to more losses.
